PASS PLUS

Pass Plus is a training course designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry to build upon your existing skills and knowledge.

The course will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, and can help you to become a more confident and competent driver.

There are six practical modules which include driving in town, driving in all weathers, driving on rural roads, driving at night, driving on dual carriageways and driving on motorways. Anyone who holds a full UK licence is eligible to take part in the scheme, and it is recommended that Pass Plus is completed within 12 months of passing your practical test. You do not have to have learned to drive with me and you will not have to take a test at the end but you will be continually assessed. You must successfully complete all the modules in the course and achieve or exceed a set standard.

When you successfully complete PASS PLUS you will usually qualify for a substantial discount on your motor insurance policy.
